Andrea Felluga, 5th generation winemaker from the Livio Felluga winery, has just visited Shanghai to present a collection of back vintages and large formats in exclusive for 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA.

It all started when Gian Luca Fusetto, GM and Sommelier, visited Friuli last September, a region he was eager to discover. He visited the Livio Felluga winery expecting to taste some very good white wines. He came away having found great wines, land and people. After a lunch together, him and Andrea Felluga settled down in the winery’s degustation room and, after a tasting of extraordinary reds  and whites that have nothing to envy to the best of France, came a bottle of Terre Alte 2001. Brought together by the depth and complexity of this wine, a collaboration and a friendship was born.

6 months later a special selection of Felluga back wintage arrived in Shanghai and Andrea Felluga followed shortly!

A series of wine tastings was hosted at 8 1/2 Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA introducing both the special selection and the rest of the Livio Felluga wine portfolio. Moreover a unique VIP wine dinner was hosted by Andrea Felluga during which a 5L format of Sosso’ 2001 was opened!
